Talking to Gramma & PawPaw....watching cartoons with little sis!

Here is a few pictures of Vay running around the house while talking to her Gramma & PawPaw on the phone! Avayah LOVES to talk on the phone...it seems more like crazy rambling than talking! Today her Pawpaw sent her & Adalynne a webcam so they got to "see" their gramma & pawpaw on the computer! Vay was SOOOO excited to see them...especially her Taybug!

Avayah has already made her own plans to go to Alabama! She tells me that she is going to ride on an airplane and stay with Gramma & Pawpaw...and she already has her agenda all planned for her little vacation too! Her stories are hilarious!! So be ready Steve & Mel she is going to keep you all super busy when we make it out there! BTW....have we told you lately how much WE MISS YOU!!!=)


If you know Vay...she is OBSESSED with holding her baby sister Adalynne. I mean what child wouldn't want to hold a real baby doll! So this afternoon she was laying on my bed watching cartoons and begging for her sister to watch them with her! Vay was not satisfied until Adalynne was as close as possible and the blanket was just right! They were pretty cute all cuddled together! I'm so excited my girls can grow up together...it's going to be such a fun..and an adorable journey!

2 Month Check-up!

Adalynne had her 2 month check-up today! Here are her current stats: She weighs 12 lbs 11 oz!!!! (She is 9 oz bigger than Vay was @ 2 months!) She measured 23 1/4 inches long! That puts her at the 90th percentile for her weight/ 80th perentile for her height. Daddy & Addy did great getting her shots (Trav was the bad guy holding her)...although she cried tons, she was smiling 10 minutes later! How blessed we are with our girls! Thumb~sucking!!

Adalynne has a new obsession...when the binki falls out the thumb goes in!! It's pretty funny!

She slept her first full night through(9 hours) yesterday..so exciting!! I hope she makes a habit of that! Here are some of her pictures of her sucking her thumb!

Grammi & Uncle Dane come to visit!!!!!!!!

Today my Mom-aka Grammi and my brother Dane came to visit! We had a blast and so did Vay...completely showing off for her audience. She sang her new favorite song from the movie Cinderella..so this is love; of course doing so while twirling her dress around!! It's the cutiest thing ever!


Avayah LOVES her babies. She carries as many as her little arms can hold, while saying I have too much babies! So here is picture of Mommy with Avayah and her triplets! I think she was a little shocked in the picture!!!

I can't believe that my baby brother will be graduating high school this coming May! How exciting!!! He's going to attend WOSC in Altus after he graduates. Vay had lots of fun playing catch & chase with Dane today!!

Mommy was off diaper duty when Grammi visited! (which I took a small advantage of!=) In the pic Adalynne was smiling & cooing while Grammi changed her diaper!! It was too cute! Avayah even got to "really" help Grammi do the dirty work, Vay was so proud of herself!! My Vay is such a big girl!

Getting the burps out, Adalynne does such a good job following you around a room!! I can't believe my baby girl is 2 months old!!

Play date at Heathers'

Yesterday Vay, Addy, and I got together with our friends Heather, Kinley, Lacey, and Emercyn for a play date...we were excited that Melisa & her daughter Hadley joined us too! The girls had so much fun!!

I wish I had a picture of Heather's son's room..It's the cutest little boys room ever...It's decked out in all cowboy!! We can't wait for baby Kale to come in late October!

A Little Mischief...a little hair fun...playdate at Beth's!!

My daughter always manages to get herself into some sort of mess...this one takes the cake so far!! While Trav, Vay, and I were watching a movie...Vay disappeared for about 5 minutes her Daddy found her in her baby sister's room in a big MESS!! (A little known fact: Vay LOVES to change her babies/stuff animals/and anything that resmembles a doll--diapers and especially loves to put on the diaper rash cream & poof poof on their bottoms.) I think this time is was a little much.



We always manage to have some sort of hairstyle going on after bath time...just for giggles!!!

Arbuckle Vacation~part III

We also went to the Arbuckle wilderness. It is a 5 or 6 mile drive where the animals literally come straight up to your vehicle and eat the from feed cups you buy. It was AWESOME!!



We went on the safari and got to feed all the animals...CAMELS ARE CRAZY!!! They literally reached in both of our vehicles and stole 1 of our feed cups! Here is a pic of Melissa and little John getting bombarded by the camels. When we tried to leave they ran after our vehicle!
We also went on the go~carts and bumper boats! Jessie hurt the guys egos when she managed to lap John & Trav in a race! Avayah is a crazy driver...she absolutely loved the go carts!!

While we were on the safari ride we fed...emus, donkeys, llamas, giraffes, zebras, osteriches, deer, bison, and tons more. We had fun tricking the osteriches by rolling the window up and holding the feed cup up and letting them peck our window! Probably not the smartest thing, but it was hilarious! Even the turtles in the ponds would follow vehicles looking for food!

Arbuckle Vacation~part II

I had to break up the blog into parts so I could post more pictures!

Melissa and I took the kids to the G.W. Exotic Animal Park. It was quite an experience!! I will admit we had second thoughts about entering because as you are entering all you can hear is fierce lion roars! They had all sorts of animals...we had a thrilling scare with a 3000 lb bear named Boo. We all had mini heart attacks we he charged the fence at us several times. We later found out that he loves to scare women! We also didn't make friends with a lion named Mufasa...I knew when he roared at Melissa that Melanie was definitely her sister (they have the same facial expression and squil when scared!) It was too funny!





Trav and John made the most of the fishing. They found a pond close to the house and took the bass buggy for a few rounds. The last night there they caught 10 Bass! We still didn't get to have a fish fry like they hoped!! =)

Arbuckle Vacation

We just spent 5 days at a lake house on Arbuckle Lake..and it couldn't have turned out any better!! We spent our vacation with Trav's~Aunt Melissa & Uncle John and their kiddos..Jessie, Nikki & John. Trav and I are so glad we all got to go together, it was so great sharing the time with the Moss family!!! (We love you guys!)

So during our 5 days we had a BLAST!!! Here are some pictures of the highlights and a few stories to go with them!!

This was the view from our lakehouse! It was gorgeous getting to look out the kitchen & living room right at the dock on the lake! It was perfect because it had a sand lot right next to the dock...so the kids had tons of fun getting all sandy while making & creating all sorts of things! The lakehouse came with a pattle boat too. It was fun taking it out, then while getting out there we all realized how out of shape we are!




Avayah, John, and Nikki had such a great time fishing off the dock for perch! They caught a few too!


One day we went to Turner Falls..it rained on and off while we were there, but it still managed to be such a great outing! Trav and John managed to climb on top of the waterfall (even though it says not to!) We learned that Avayah is not afraid at all of large bodies of water! She went out in her floating just wading along..of coures when it started getting deep she would freak out! We also hiked up to a 1940's castle that was pretty interesting! We ended on top of a hill (what we call a oklahoma mountain) that overlooked all of Turner Falls. It was a gorgeous sight, but all too scary too being that is was several hundred feet straight down!

Adventures with Vay & Dax!

Dax came over today and Vay took him on an adventure ride in her Barbie Jeep! The pictures don't describe how cute they were together!!! They circled the front yard a few times...barely missing the trees and Beth's Armada! They had fun tuning the radio too!

Cruising with Avayah

Yesterday Trav got Avayah a Barbie Jeep Wrangler. So after a night of Daddy assembling it..Avayah was ready to light up the street this morning. She did pretty well being that it's a little hard to steer. We managed to only have a few meltdowns-little Miss Independent thought Daddy was helping too much! =) She's pretty excited she gets to take it on our vacation Sunday!
