Pillow fight with Daddy!

This is what happens when I ask Trav if he can put Vay to bed. I swear sometimes (well most actually) that I have 3 children, instead of just 2. I have to tell them both it's time for bed or they will spend the whole night wrestling, chasing, and screaming while doing so! The fun they have...

This is Trav fixing to take Vay out with the pillows...

Mission accomplished!

This is the look of anticipation...Daddy is running towards her...she's thinking what do I do??

Play dead!

What a day!

Between the meltdown's it was an eventful day. We got to go on our walk this morning, went to our friend's birthday party this afternoon-Emercyn Looper Happy 2nd Birthday, thanks for inviting us...We had such a blast!! Little Miss Emercyn couldn't have looked any more adorable..her mommy-Lacey made the cutiest Elmo outfit for her!! At the birthday party we got to hang with our friends...Heather & Kinley too! Of course we all know why Avayah really attends birthday's--HAPPY CAKE!! She was so well behaved, due to me making the statement, "if you do that, no happy cake!" =)

Then we went to visit Daddy at work today. Avayah has become quite the showoff too for all of the sales managers! She was looking at their buy book and said do you know what this books says?? Someone asked what?..and she said it says that Daddy needs to make cash money!!!! It was hilarious. Avayah refers to all money as "cash money" whether it's a dollar or a penny, it's always cash money--thanks to her dad's terminology!

Here's a few pictures of the girls before we left for the party!

Pretty little lady bug....

Oh how today was eventful. I took some random pictures of the girls before we went to the mall...should have thought the mall trip through...First let me say that for our little princesses today was full of excitement, because their daddy was off work. I can't begin to describe the craziness that takes place when he's home...it's almost like taking a coke & shaking it then opening it and watching it spray fizz everywhere.

So even though we probably knew how the girls were going to act at the mall we decided (against our better judgement) to go to exchange a previous purchase. So we have to convince Vay (to get her into the stroller) if she behaves that we will get her a treat. Oh how that was a mistake! Half way through the trip she is screaming for M&M's...and telling us, you said you were going to give me a treat!! Then it would only be right for her baby sister to get mad too! Except she is like where is the milk (in crying terms!) So that is probably the fastest I have jumped into the mall & out--30 minutes flat. So we spent the rest of the day in our comfort zone-HOME! Thank goodness!

So there was a little piece of my day...hope it made you smile.=) Side note-In the 4th picture. This is what happens most of the day if the cat doesn't dash fast enough under the bed...Vay catches him and carries him like her baby doll everywhere until he slips through her arms. Soon enough she will be dressing him like a doll & strapping him in her stroller!

Here are the pictures of my sweet girls!

Play date at the Park!

The girls and I got together with my friend Tammy and her adorable little girls, Trinity & Rylee. It works perfect because Tammy's girls are so close in age with mine. Trinity is 3 and Rylee is 3 days older than Adalynne. It was great to get the girls together and share stories about the same thing--having a toddler and a newborn, such drama! =)

We played on the playset, swung, and ate lunch at the pavilion! What fun!! Thanks so much Tammy we had a blast! Here are some pics of our fun!

The girls!

Those of you that read this...PLEASE pray for me to survive this cat!! Ahhhh!! I will definitley have to take a picture of the constant stand-off between the cat & Lulu that happens about 3-4 times a day! It's serious, but at the same time hilarious! If it's not the cat & dog battling it's my precious little Vay saying, "Mommy, where is the kitty?" She asks me a series of questions about the cat literally 30 times a day!!! If that's not enought to drive a mommy crazy I don't know what is!! Sorry I'll step off my soap box and post about more important things! =)

It's actually funny that Melanie-aka Gramma asked me this morning if Adalynne was reaching for things. This afternoon while she was relaxing in her swing she reach out and grabbed her block today!!! YAY!! I was walking by and had to do a double take...it took all I had not to jump up and down with excitement and pride! Avayah was grabbing and picking things up by 2 1/2 months and sure enough it would only be right for her baby sister to follow in her footsteps! =) Here are some pictures of her reaching out to her block...

I got the girls ready to bring their daddy dinner and had to take some pictures of them. I had to post one of Vay not smiling because she was chomping on a cookie and needless to say her mouth was a mess! =) So here's a shot of the girls and one of Adalynne.

Introducing---KITTY!

Did I mention that my husband can't say no to his daughter?!?! She has literally begged him for a cat, kitty, kitten; however she can put it. She'll look at pictures of cats/kittens and say how adorably soft it is? How does she know that! So I guess we own a cat now...so instead of being a family of 5 it's now 6! Who would of thought 4 years later!!!

The cat doesn't have a name yet...we just call him kitty/cat! He is 8 weeks old and a complete little spit-fire! Can you tell how excited I am about this!!!! This is the part where I would insert one of those mad faces. It's been a little trying since the cat believes that Lulu is satan!! Regardless Avayah is thrilled to have him. Here are some pics of her new friend...and one pic of mommy & Adalynne before we went to MOPS this morning! **Notice the last pic of Avayah...how spoiled is that face! =)

Ballerina Princess

Avayah started her ballet/dance class today! My little princess couldn't have looked any more adorable....sorry mommy syndrome--every mom thinks their kids are the cutest!

When the class started Vay was right on point (of course for a 2 1/2 year old). Since mommy had to keep baby sister entertained, Vay was the teacher's shadow and she lived up to the role! If you could have seen my face...I was the mom completely gushing with pride! I'm so proud of my little Avayah Shay.

During the class, they got to dance, sing, and imitate the teachers moves. They walked on a balance board actually taking turns--by far Avayah's favorite! It was a great class..with an excellent teacher. Vay is going to love this! One side note...why can nobody we meet pronounce Vay's name correctly (a-vay-ah?!?!?!) I guess that is what you get for trying to be different! =)

Meme & Papa come to visit!

We were so delighted that Papa & Meme came to visit the girls and I! Meme brought a surprise--as Vay calls it...what could be better than fresh vegetables from Aunt Gails garden! Thank you Meme!!!

Of course during their visit Avayah acts like her usual self when we have visitors...a complete rotten, spoiled, drama queen!!! Adalynne was the complete opposite relishing in her great grandma & grandpa's affection. We are so blessed for our family! Adalynne tried to pout once, but Meme talked her out of it. =) Here is a few pictures from their visit. We sure love you guys!

Pretty in Yellow!

This morning the girls and I went to church for a bible study! Both the girls had a great time in the nurseries...Vay got into a little trouble as I expected...since her middle name is CrAzY!!! Here is a few pics before we left!

Spaghetti Face

Avayah's most favorite food...pretty much the only food (besides CaNdY) that I can count on her eating everytime I make it. So here's her adorable face after a mess of spaghetti!

Tummy time!

Adalynne is already 9 weeks! She is doing so great holding her head up during tummy time. Of course during the 10 minutes Addy was on her tummy, Vay was either trying to help hold up her sister's head or trying to encourage Addy to lift her head while shoving the toy in her face! Bless her heart she's such a little mommy! =) Here are a few pics of Adalynne's success.....
