We got back from Alabama this past Monday. It's completely amazing how fast a week goes by. And yes I survived traveling on an airplane 4 times with a 3 month old and a 2 1/2 year old; Thank goodness for strollers! I won't lie a few times...like for instance when I'm trying to convince Avayah we have to turn off the electonic (dvd player--thanks Melissa!) because we are descending and she has a complete MELTDOWN--I thought while the entire plane is laughing "WHAT WAS I THINKING!" It was so worth my kids getting to see their grandparents and we would do it again for the record! =)
BTW my in-laws live in Birmingham. The scenery there is breathtaking. I'm so glad that they got to live somewhere that looks like Colorado! =)
Of course we had a BLAST! It was so nice to be able to relax with some help and catch up with Steve, Mel, and Tay! We shopped, ate tons of great meals!--thanks Melanie I think I tipped the scale about 10 heavier coming home! We ventured to Desoto Caverns--what a creepy fun place to go! We got to see where Tay goes to school and meet some of Steve's coworkers.
Now if I only could have packed them in my suitcase and take them back to Oklahoma it would have been the perfect trip! WE MISS YOU ALL!!! Thank you so much for sharing your time with us..memories like this last a lifetime!
Here are a few photos w/some highlights and a slideshow...
Adalynne during out first flight...she did sooooo great!
On Avayah's adventures around the house she got to help her PawPaw fill the bird feeder! She's pouting because they were all done & she wants to live outside! =)
Avayah got to go to the park about everyday with PawPaw, Gramma, and Tay. She even got to fish with PawPaw too! I'm pretty sure in this picture is where he told her that there was an alligator in the water and to not get to close to the edge--*sidenote* if you know my Vay..she is not afraid of large bodies of water and would just walk out in the middle of it w/no fear! The look on her face says it all! =)
One of my favorite pictures....What ladies!
