Friday was Trav's birthday! We had such a great time spending the day with him. We LOVE you honey!!!

Avayah loved to play in the snow with her daddy! They had fun tossing snowballs and making a snowman. Mommy & Addy stayed warm inside taking the video & photos!

The weather outside....

Here is Avayah trying to stay warm in her pj's while we have had a wonderful snow & ice storm grace us with it's presence the last 2 days. Only in Oklahoma can you have moderate 60 temperature & then the next day 1" of ice & snow! It's crazy! There is also a few pics of what it looks like outside our house...

Trav...aka the babysitter!

So Beth and I have become a little overwhelmed with the Twilight saga! Overwhelmed might be an understatement. So after reading Twilight we were committed to seeing the movie before we started the second book. So Trav volunteered to be the "babysitter" for us while we went out for a little girls movie matinee . I say babysitter because he resents it....he's an amazing Dad of course, so I just have to give him a hard time when I can! =) I have to say taking care of 3 kiddos who all are under 3 by yourself is a hard task and he did an excellent job!
Vay, Dax, and Adalynne had a blast. Although Addy was asleep for most of the fun. The kids played puzzles, play-doh, catch, built tall towers, and even got to watch a movie together all while Trav managed to get some pics for us. I'm thrilled that my girls are the luckiest girls in the world to have a daddy like Trav! Here's some pics of the highlights...

Christmas weekend...

Gramma & pawpaw came in for the weekend to celebrate Christmas w/us and it was great! Vay got to show everyone her new big girl room...Trav got his mama's home cooking, and we all had fun hanging out playing wii. We had lots of vistors Sunday...it turned out to be such a good time! The kids had so much fun opening gifts...Where are we going to stock all these toys we got from 3 Christmas celebrations????





We are so thankful to have such loving family & friends to celebrate such a joyous holiday with. Happy Birthday Jesus! =)

Christmas.....

We had such a blessed Christmas morning with our girls at our home. They woke up w/their matching pj's and had so much fun opening their stockings and gifts! Vay got lots of sleeping beauty barbies, puzzles, playdoh, and she even got a giant doll house for her barbies to sleep in! We found the funniest hat while browsing Christmas stuff at Lowes...it was too funny and had to get it for Trav to wear to give Vay her presents!

Then we were off to Grammi & Grandpa's house in Altus. We had such a good time...we got to eat a great meal and jam to some rock band. Vay was on the mic just singing her lungs out....Trav & my sis on guitar...my mom & brother on the drums and me filming. It turns out that my mom can rap!!! It was hilarious!!! Vay had fun playing with her tea party set and her recorder-her instrument as she calls it, and a wiggle cart that we all had a blast with! If you look at the slideshow below the last picture is of Avayah with a blanket tied around her carseat across her head....we didn't get back from Altus until late and she fell asleep in her carseat and her little head kept flopping forward. So we had to tie the blanket across her little head to keep it up. It was soooo cute & funny!
